The language is written with the latin Alphabet, with a few more characters common with other Slavic languages. Croatia is a dynamic and relatively prosperous country.

The market for Croatian domain names is difficult to delimit. Firstly, it benefits from the fact that Serbian words become Croatian, as soon as they are written with the latin alphabet. Therefore, purchasing a domain name in Croatian will allow a significant part of traffic coming from Serbia. Also, many words are common with Slovenian, but it is generally not possible to register them anymore, as Slovenes are very advanced regarding the internet.
